74th Annual Membership Meeting on Saturday, March 19
Dear Members and Guests,
We invite you to join us on
Saturday, March 19, 2022
for our 74th Annual Membership Meeting
in the Alte Kanzlei Restaurant in downtown Stuttgart.
Unfortunately, we were forced to cancel our January and February programs due to Covid.This meeting gives us the opportunity to come together again after a Covid pause and enoy each others company with a short and interesting business meeting followed by fine dining and entertaining conversation. This is what our club is all about. Please join us for an enjoyable evening of German-American fellowship.
We will meet at 17:30 hours at the Alte Kanzlei Restaurant on the west side of the Schlossplatz in downtown Stuttgart (look for the golden Mercury statue on the water tower). Go in the main entrance and up the stairs to the Karl and Olga rooms, which are reserved for us. We will begin the evening with a sekt reception. After the reception we will conduct our Annual General Membership Meeting (maximum 30 minutes, required by German law).
Following the Member Meeting we will enjoy a three course meal consisting of:
Salad: Caesar Salad with croutons and parmesan cheese
Soup: Cream of Carrot Soup with ginger and sesame oil/seeds
Main Course: Tasty Snack Variety Platter with salami sticks, cheese wedges, olives, almonds and bread
The main course is available in normal and vegetarian versions. Please specify your choice with your reservation!
During and after dinner we can regale each other with pleasant conversion and tall tales about our adventures in the time of Covid. We hope you will join us for this yearly highlight!
The sekt reception is free. Meal Cost: €24. Drinks with dinner extra. Please pay the nice folks from the restaurant individually on your way out.
We take care to follow all applicable Covid rules, and the restaurant does as well. We ask for your cooperation. Under current rules to attend this event you must bring proof of immunization with booster, full (double) immunization within the last three months, Covid recovery within the last three months, or a current (within 24 hours) negative Covid test (2G+ rules). An FFP2 quality mask is required for entering the restaurant.
Should Covid rules change before the event, we will let you know right away.
