Please join us as we begin our 75^th Anniversary Year with a visit to the

The interactive exhibition displays over 250 objects showing the history of alcohol consumption from the stone age to the present, and how strongly this consumption is anchored in our daily lives. The emphasis focuses less on the technical aspects of alcohol production, but rather emphasizes the role that beer and wine play in the social context, both past and present, highlighting the cultural-historical role of alcohol and the consequences of alcohol consumption for individuals and society.
We will enjoy guided tours in English, and (depending on attendance) in German.

Following the tours we will walk across the Schlossplatz to the Brauhaus Schönbuch Brewery Restaurant, Bolzstr.10, Stuttgart (www.brauhaus-schoenbuch.de,Tel: 0711-722 30 930), where we will enjoy an à la carte dinner in a fitting atmosphere, rounding off the day with fun and good cheer!

Schedule of Events:

14:30-Sharp:	Meet in the foyer of the Landesmuseum. Go across the castle courtyard, enter the Museum and gather in the lounge area to the right of the ticket counter. There are a cloak room and coin lockers available in the lobby. Backpacks and large bags are not allowed in the exhibition rooms. We will also pick up sound sets for the tour.
15:00:	English Guided Tour Starts. 15:15 (if necessary): German Guided Tour Starts.
16:00-16:15:	Tours End. You have a little time to browse or have a cup of coffee in the museum café.
16:40-Sharp:	Gather at the lounge meeting point for the walk to the restaurant.
17:00:	Dinner at the Brauhaus Schönbuch Brewery Restaurant.

Cost: Entry and Tours: €10 for members, €15 for non-members, collected in cash on location.

Dinner at the restaurant is à la carte, individual payment to the restaurant.
