please join us on Saturday, June 22, 2024, for a guided tour of the
Schönbuch Brewery
in Böblingen, located about 20 km southwest of Stuttgart
The Schönbuch Brewery was founded in 1823 in Böblingen on the market square by Karl Gottfried Dinkelaker, beer brewer and city councillor. In the more than 200 years old family managed brewery the beer is still hand-crafted. Their main focus is quality, craftsmanship and of course the best taste. You don’t want to miss this exclusive tour for our club only.
Timetable:
10:30 – 11:00 Meet in front of the Braumarkt [ directions >> ]
11:00 – 12:30 Guided Tour Schönbuch Brewery
12:45 – 15:00 Lunch at the Schönbuch Brauhaus restaurant [ directions >> ] meals and drinks are paid individually by the participants
Please note: all participants should be good on foot as there are several steps to overcome during the tour. There is also no seating available throughout the duration of the tour.
Cost: 15 € members; 20 € non-members – this includes a beer reception, entry and guided tour of the brewery (90 min), asample sip directly from the storage tank and an original Schönbuch Braumanufaktur glass. We kindly ask for upfront payment; payment instructions will be sent upon registration. The number of participants for the tour is limited, first come first served – Members have priority.

Car:
Once you get on the A8 from Stuttgart take Exit Böblingen-Ost. From Herrenberg take Exit Böblingen/Sindelfingen. Keep driving in the direction Böblingen Stadtmitte, until you get on the Lange Str., there is free parking available at the Brewery.
Don’t drink and drive! We recommend to use public transportation
Public transportation:
Take any train connection (S-Bahn, Regional- or Schönbuchbahn) to Böblingen Bahnhof. From there you can take a 20 min walk to the Schönbuch Brewery: leave the station in direction of Stadtmitte, take Bahnhofstr. (pedestrian zone), then take the pedestrian crossing to Stadtgrabenstr. continuing into Sindelfinger Str. until Postplatz, keep walking on Postplatz passing the Restaurant “Platzhirsch” and turn right into Lange Str.

Take the busline 720 leaving at the ZOB (central bus station) Böblingen at platform 7 in the direction of Böblingen Goldberg (P+R) to Bus stop “Postplatz”, (the Bus stop is on Stuttgarter Str. !), from there it is a 5 min walk to the Brewery -> walk back to Postplatz, turn left on Postplatz and turn right into Lange Str.
