Please join us at the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart on Sunday, January 26, for a fascinating guided tour of
“Carpaccio, Bellini and the Early Renaissance in Venice”
For the first time in Germany, the spotlight will be on Vittore Carpaccio, one of the most successful painters active in the Republic of Venice around 1500. Approximately 55 paintings and works on paper from the museum’s own collection, alongside prestigious international loans, will illuminate Carpaccio’s unique role as a chronicler of Venetian life.

15:00 We will meet in the Staatsgalerie Main Entrance Hall in the Stirling Building
15:30 Guided tour in German – ends at 16:30
15:45 Guided tour in English – ends at 16:45
17:10 Walk as a group over to the Italian restaurant “Tialini”, Bolzstraße 10
17:30 Dinner *

Cost per person: Members 15 €, non-members 20 € – we kindly ask for upfront payment. You will receive the payment information in your sign-up confirmation. The amount p/p includes the entrance fee and guided tour with audio system. Please let us know if you have a museum pass – 5 € will then be deducted from your cost.
