we invite you to join us on Saturday, February 21, 2026 for our
78th Annual General Membership Meeting
in the Hirsch Hotel Ruit, Stuttgarterstrasse 7, 73760 Ostfildern-Ruit
This meeting gives us the opportunity to come together again and enjoy each other’s company with a Sekt Reception and a short and interesting Member Meeting followed by fine dining, good fellowship and good music. This is what our club is all about. Please join us for an enjoyable evening of German-American friendship, in this our 78th Anniversary Year!
We will meet at 17:30 hours in the banquet room of the Hirsch Hotel, Ruit. The banquet room is at the back of the building and is reserved for us. We will begin with a Sekt Reception for all to enjoy. Around 18:00 we will ask you to take your seats. The restaurant servers will then take our drink orders.
After all are seated and drink orders have been placed, we will conduct our Annual Member Meeting (maximum 30 minutes, required by German law), where we will hear a recap of the preceding year, what’s coming up this year, and take a look at the club finances. Concluding the meeting will be our Board of Directors Election for 2026.
After the Member Meeting we will enjoy dinner together, followed by musical entertainment from the duo Kate “n” Krazy, old friends from Blues in Town Esslingen.They play a mix of Blues, Blues/Rock and lovely ballads for your enjoyment.
The Reception and musical entertainment will be paid by your club. Pay for your dinner and drinks for the evening directly to the restaurant staff before you leave.

Directions
By car: Hotel-Restaurant Hirsch, Stuttgarter Strasse 7, 73760 Ostfildern-Ruit. There is sufficient parking behind the restaurant. If coming from the East on the Kirchheimer Strasse, drive thru the Archway to the parking lot. If coming from the West on the Stuttgarter Strasse, take the small driveway on the right alongside the west side of the building to the back. Restaurant entrance from the parking lot is on the right (East) side at the back of the building. We are in a private room to the left from the parking lot entrance.
Public transportation: Both the U8 from Vaihingen Bahnhof and the U7 from the Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof, direction Nellingen/Ostfildern, stop at the Haltestelle Ruit. From the U-Bahn stop – facing the direction of travel – head right onto Hedelfinger Strasse, then onto Kirchheimer Strasse, turn right and follow the street to the restaurant. It is a 5 min. level walk (ca. 350 meters) to the restaurant on the Stuttgarter Strasse (see map).
