Sektkellerei Rilling in S-Bad Cannstatt on Saturday, November 14

Dear members and guests,

please join us on Saturday, 14 November, 2020, as we visit the traditional Sektkellerei Rilling in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt on the banks of the Neckar river. The company was founded in 1887 as a wine store by Ludwig Rilling, the sparkling wine cellar exists since 1935. The company is now lead by the Rilling Family in the 4th generation. We are very delighted to get a tour exclusively for our club.

We will meet at 14.30 hours at the meeting point in Brückenstrasse 6, at the Rilling Sektkellerei (for further information see page 2). From there we will be taken on two tours through the sparkling wine cellar beginning at 15.00 hours, one in English, one in German. The tours will show the sparkling wine production and last approx. 60 minutes. After the tours both groups will rejoin and enjoy a sparkling wine tasting. After that (approx. at 17.00 hours) we will cross the river Neckar and walk for about 5 minutes to the restaurant Weinstube Klösterle to have dinner. The Klösterle is one of the oldest still existing residential homes in Stuttgart.
We ask members to pay €5, non-members to pay €15 at the meeting point.

Remember, we must still adhere to corona rules. You will need a face mask at the meeting point and for entry into the park, and during the tour as well – we will pass narrow spots during the walk through the Kellerei. If you are not feeling well please do not attend. Please wear comfortable walking shoes for the tour through the cellar. Thanks for your support!

We are limited to 40 participants for this outing. Reservations made in the order they are received.

Best regards,

Scott Beard & Ann Cathy Reed
