Avast me hearties!
Join us for a day of pirate fun on

Saturday, 08 April, 1400
at the Auld Rogue Irish Pub
in Stuttgart-Vaihingen

Drink the drink that made Captain Jack Sparrow sing!

Come in Pirate costume for a free raffle ticket and a chance to win an Irish Breakfast for 2, an Auld Rogue T-Shirt, Coupons for discounts on GAC 1948 outings; and for the guy or gal with the best costume, as voted on by a show of hands, a Bottle of Rum!

Nick Mann will regale us with tales of the bounding main when no ship was safe from marauding pirates as he serves us traditional rum concoctions from the 17th and 18th centuries!

A brief introduction will be given before each round of rum drink (Spiced Rum & Pop, Lemon Shrub, Pirate's Punch, Walk the Plank, and Grog). Nick will give his presentation in English with German explanations where necessary. Our host is fluent in both languages.

Although there will be plates of food (with vegetarian options) in between the tastings, please don't start on an empty stomach! Please eat lunch first - at home or at the Auld Rogue!

Date: Saturday, 8 April 2017 / Showtime: 13:30 to sign in / Tasting: 14:00 - 18:00
Cost for tasting incl. food: 35 / 40 € (members / non-members) / Cost for food only: 10 €
