The Candy Museum will show you the history of candy making beginning in Persia in the 8th Century, up through all the variety achieved in the 20th Century.
For the Germans, walking through the museum will be a walk down memory lane, with the display of candy advertisements dating back to the 19th Century.
The museum has old candy making equipment as well as the shelves and counter from an authentic grocery store that once stood on Calwer Strasse in Stuttgart and sold sweets by JUNG, a candy/sweets maker that is still existing in Vaihingen-Enz. Jung is also the owner of this museum. The museum is located in their candy outlet store, where we can shop after the tour with a 5% discount on that day!.
